our trip planning process
1. Discover
Every journey starts with a conversation. We’ll get to know you, how you like to travel, what matters most to you and what you want this particular trip to feel like. We’ll also talk through your priorities, budget and the practicalities, so we have a clear brief before we begin.
2. design
This is where we get to work. Drawing on our own experience, trusted relationships and network around the world, we’ll shape your trip from the ground up; considering not only where you stay and what you do, but how the journey flows as a whole.
3. refine and reserve
Once you’re happy with the design, we take care of bringing it all together. From hotels and private guides to transfers, experiences and the smaller details that make a trip run beautifully, we manage the arrangements as one complete journey.
4. travel
Before you leave, you’ll receive your complete itinerary through our travel app, bringing together all of your arrangements, confirmations and useful information in one place.
While you’re travelling, you’ll also have the reassurance of trusted local support and the Wanderwell team behind you.
What it costs
Great travel is an investment in something increasingly valuable: your time.
Every journey we design is created entirely around you. Our design fee reflects the time, expertise, research and relationships that go into creating a trip that feels considered from beginning to end — rather than simply assembling a collection of hotels and experiences.
Our trip design fees start from £400 / $600 for 1–6 travellers, depending on the length and complexity of the journey.
For larger groups of 6+, fees start from £150 / $200 per person.
The design fee is payable at the start of the planning process and is non-refundable. Once this is in place, we begin researching and designing your journey.
As a guide, most of the trips we create start from around £600 / $800 per person, per day, excluding international flights. During particularly high-demand travel periods, including Christmas and New Year, higher minimum spends may apply.

Preferred Hotel Bookings
Already know where you want to stay?
For straightforward hotel stays, Studio Wanderwell can arrange bookings through our preferred hotel partnerships, giving you access to additional benefits at many of the world’s leading luxury hotels.
Depending on the property and programme, these may include complimentary breakfast, hotel or spa credits, priority upgrades, early check-in, late check-out and other preferred-partner amenities.
This is a lighter-touch booking service for clients who already know where they would like to stay and do not require wider itinerary design.
There is no additional planning fee for eligible hotel-only bookings.
