What does Studio Wanderwell offer?
We design highly personal journeys from beginning to end.
That means taking the time to understand how you like to travel, then bringing together the right accommodation, experiences, guides, transportation and logistics into one considered itinerary.
Every trip is created individually. We do not work from set packages or pre-designed itineraries, and our recommendations are always based on what we believe is right for you.
Why work with a Travel Designer?
Because planning an exceptional trip takes time, judgement and experience.
There is an enormous amount of information available online, but more choice does not necessarily make it easier to know what is genuinely worth your time.
Our role is to cut through the noise, make thoughtful recommendations and bring every element together so that your trip feels effortless and personal.
We also work with a trusted global network of hotels, guides and local partners, giving our clients access to expert knowledge, preferred-partner benefits and support that is not always available when booking independently.
Can’t I just plan myself?
Absolutely! And many of our clients enjoy researching travel themselves.
They work with us because they would rather spend their time enjoying the anticipation of a trip than coordinating all of the details behind it.
We bring experience, trusted relationships and an understanding of how a journey should flow, helping you avoid the hours of research and uncertainty that can come with planning a complex trip yourself.

Why Studio Wanderwell rather than a larger travel agency?
We are intentionally small, independent and highly personal.
You will work with a team who gets to know how you travel, what matters to you and what has worked (or not worked) on previous trips.
We are not tied to particular hotel groups, destinations or pre-designed itineraries. Our recommendations are based on what we genuinely believe will suit you, supported by trusted relationships with people on the ground around the world.
The more we travel together, the better we get to know you, and the better each journey becomes.
What does it cost?
Our trip design fees start from £400 / $600 for 1–6 travellers and from £150 / $200 per person for groups of 6+.
The exact fee depends on the length and complexity of the journey and is agreed with you before we begin.
The trip design fee is payable at the start of the planning process and is non-refundable.
As a guide, most of the journeys we create start from around £600 / $800 per person, per day, excluding international flights.
Why do you charge a trip design fee?
Our design fee reflects the time, expertise and research involved in creating a journey entirely around you.
It allows us to invest properly in the planning process; researching the right hotels and experiences, working with trusted partners, thinking through the logistics and refining the itinerary until it feels right.
Our clients are paying not simply for bookings, but for our judgement, relationships and the time we invest in bringing the whole journey together.
Do you receive commission from hotels and travel partners?
In some cases, yes.
Like many professional travel companies, we may receive commission from hotels and trusted partners when we make bookings on our clients’ behalf.
However, our recommendations are never based on the level of commission available. We are independent and recommend the places and experiences we genuinely believe are right for you.
Our industry relationships can also provide additional benefits for our clients, such as room upgrades, hotel credits, complimentary breakfast and other preferred-partner amenities, subject to availability.
How do I start creating a trip?
Complete our trip design form to tell us a little about your plans.
From there, we will arrange a complimentary consultation to talk through what you have in mind, how you like to travel and whether Studio Wanderwell is the right fit for your trip.
What happens if I need support when I’m away?
You are not on your own once the trip begins.
Before departure, we provide all of your arrangements and essential information through our travel app, together with the relevant local contacts for your journey.
If something unexpected happens while you are away, our trusted partners on the ground are often best placed to provide immediate assistance, with the Studio Wanderwell team available to support and help coordinate where needed.
